Imanje Msitu Mashamba - Show results

Mika started her showing career in March 2014.  She has been trying very hard to learn what to do like her mummy...but she just loves everyone so much and likes to see what is going on around her that she finds it hard to stand still!

She is just a puppy and showing will be fun for us (already she is showing some of her uncle Loki's traits including her waggy tail) so her humans might have to work just that little bit harder than she does!

Some highlights of Mika's show career...

18 April 2014, Rutherglen Canine Society, Judge Mark Ord

Special Best Hound Puppy -  "promising young bitch, enjoying her time in the ring, most lovely head proportions, strong neck, good bone for age, moved with verve (8, 1a)"

Mika qualified for Crufts 2015 at WELKS (25 April 2014)) - Judge Marianne R Nixon:

"very attractive 7 months puppy, correct head & eye & reach of neck, nice ribcage, good front, well boned for age, lovely arched feet. Body maturing nicely, well angulated hindquarters, moved soundly & true (7,1)"

24 May 2014, Carluke & District Canine Club - Judge Mr Alf Wood (Marada)

1st AV Special Minor Puppy  - "lovely front, tight feet, well balanced and angulated, plenty bone and substance, true mover. (8, 3)"

5 July 2014 Greenock & District CS Judge Mr Ian Halbert

Special Best Hound Puppy - " elegant 10 months red puppy, feminine head with dark eye, strong neck into sloping shoulder, good depth of chest, good rear angulation"

28 September 2014  Angus & Kincardine CS Judge Fiona Findlay

"just preferred the overall size of this bitch, dark pigmentation & eye in harmony with coat colour, deep chest, good length of neck, well muscled, good bend of stifle, moved well.  Best AVNC, Hound Group 2"

24 January 2015, Kirkintilloch, Lenzie & District CS Judges Edith Wallace and  Mrs D Penniston-Fleming (Allort)

"17 months old youngster with beautiful movement. I have seen her a few times from the sidelines & love her personality. She can be quite playful in the ring but today she settled & showed her socks off. Could not deny her BOB & I am sure she will go far if she continues to show as she did today. BOB, G4"

5 May 2015 Lanchester Agricultural Show, Judge Mr Jim Richardson

Best AVNC, Group 1 - "eagerly awaiting critique"

28 November 2015 Tyne, Wear & Tees Hound Association Judge  Ms Ruth Locket-Walters and Ms Sharon Rossiter (Sonstraal)

"pleasing head, good reach of neck, good shoulder placement & front, nice & tight in the elbows, moves true keeping a good outline. BOB, would prefer tighter feet"

BOB, 3rd Best in show

Thank you to all the judges who have placed Mika in her classes since 2014
